Calendar Raffle

(Archived 9/20/06) Tickets are available now through June 30, 2006 for the Computer Banc Calendar Raffle. $10 a ticket buys you a chance for every day in July to win cash. Winning numbers will be determined by the Illinois Lottery "EVENING PICK 3". If the "EVENING PICK 3" numbers match the number on your ticket, then you win that day's amount. Cash prizes will be mailed every Friday to the address given on your ticket stub. No need to be present to win. If you wish to purchase a ticket, please call our office at (217) 528-9506.

"Add a Lab" for Schools

(Archived 6/09/06) In an effort to expand our secondary mission, providing computers to not-for-profits and schools, Computer Banc has created a special program to assist schools in obtaining labs.  The package, consisting of 12 systems (Pentium III, 17" monitor, network card, no Operating System installed), can be purchased for $720.00 and picked up from the Springfield lab.

Computer Banc Collection Successful

(Archived 5/30/06)The fourth annual Computer Banc collection was held on Saturday May 13, 2006 at the Horace Mann parking lot at 9th and Jefferson in Springfield. Many computers were saved from landfills and sent to East St. Louis for recycling. If you missed this year's collection, we will have another collection in May 2007. Computer Banc Online Auction

(Archived 5/20/06) Computer Banc will be holding an auction online from May 1 to May 15, 2006. Items include sports tickets, massages, advertising packages, gift baskets, professional training and services, symphony tickets, boom boxes, CDs, savings bonds, dinners at Springfield area restaurants, a Jacuzzi suite, office chair, free safety deposit box for 1 year, snow blower, laser printer and more!  Also check out our mystery item: very old and unusual!  Please stay tuned as we add more great items and packages you may bid on from the comfort of your own home!  The flyer for this event is available here.

4th Annual Computer Banc Collection

(Archived 5/16/06) The fourth annual Computer Banc collection will be held on Saturday May 13, 2006 at the Horace Mann parking lot at 9th and Jefferson in Springfield from 8am - 1pm. Donations will be accepted from the community (Pentium III or newer systems, Windows 98 licenses, Educational Software, PDA's, and Cell Phones).  Older equipment will also be accepted for recycling. Check back soon for more details!

14th Annual Earth Awareness Fair

(Archived 4/29/2006) Computer Banc will be hosting a booth at the 14th annual Earth Awareness Fair at the Expo Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 29, 2006.  Spin the "Wheel", answer a recycling question, and win a prize!  Come support Computer Banc and learn how to protect the world we live in.
